Gourock Tartan Army travel Details to Prague

Not long now!!! So looking forward to this trip.

We have just had the route and pickup points agreed with the bus company so here goes:

Pre-bus party in the Darroch Bar Gourock from 11am, hope you all make it for pre-bus refreshments!!

Bus departs Gourock at 3pm prompt, please be on time as we cannot wait for anyone, as we have a ferry to catch

First pick up point with be at Bothwell Services(no getting off the bus at this point)

Next pick up point is Southweight Services just out side Carlise, and we will be having a 15min stop.

Next stop and pickup if needed will be Nortoncanes Services at Birmingham, we will be stopping for 45mins here.

Next pickup point will be Thurrock Services on the M25, 15mins stop.

Then on to Dover, and Calais then Amsterdam, we should be arriving by 10-11am.

We will be departing Amsterdam at 3pm on the Sunday buses will be at the bus park on the Damrak.

You should be there not later than 2.30pm on the Sunday, as we will leave 3pm prompt for the trip home, we cannot wait and miss the ferry like we did on the Paris trip and ended up missing the ferry, and the people never even turned up, so we will leave 3pm prompt.

Drop off's will be the same as the outbound journey.

Holland 2009 Update

Holland March 2009 Update Due to circumstances out with our control, the ferry from Hull to Rotterdam has been moved to Dover to Calais. We will still be leaving on Fri 27th March(but at a later time), and returning back in Gourock on the Monday(sooner than planned). The reason given by P&O was over booking. The rest of the trip remains the same with hotels and arrival time in Amsterdam going un-changed.. We have contacted the coach company, who have advised of the best route and times to shorten the journey as much as possible. Journey times will be 9hrs to Dover, 1.5hrs Ferry Crossing, 3.5hrs to Amsterdam. We have also negotiated a reduced price with them to balance out the extra mileage needing covered by coach. We understand that while most will see this as a minor change to see Scotland play, some of you will may need to find alternative transport to this game, so we are willing to offer all who wish to cancel a refund, minus the deposit. As the hotels have been pre-paid, rooms are still available for those traveling by other means. A reminder to all travelling, that final payment is required by 1st November. See you all then!! No Small print, but just need to know info: Anyone cancelling between now and the 24th Oct will receive refund minus the deposit, anyone cancelling after 30th November will lose the full amount if no alternative traveller can be found(but deposit will still be lost), anyone not paying the balance by 1st November and not making contact, will have their seat cancelled and monies lost, we also reserve the right to re-sell this seat. Please note that we(GMS) have already paid in full hotels for this trip, so if you are travelling by other means, we still have rooms available in Amsterdam, just let us know if you need the room. Any refunds requested will be sent out to confirmed addresses only after the 24th Oct, once we have full details of numbers that need to be cancelled..
